A 20-year-old man was stabbed in the city of Be'er Sheva in southern Israel, according to Israel's police and emergency services. Police said they received a report Friday morning about a stabbing attack at Be'er Sheva's central bus station. The attacker was "neutralized" on the spot and police forces are conducting searches for any additional risk, police said in a statement. Emergency services are treating the injured man, who is in mild condition with a stab wound, and taking him to hospital, Israel's emergency service, Magen David Adom (MDA), said in a separate statement.

Jerusalem CNN —At least one person was killed and seven others injured on Thursday in a highway shooting in the occupied West Bank on the outskirts of Jerusalem, according to authorities. Two of the injured remain in serious condition, the Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s national emergency and medical service said. The shooting took place near the Israeli settlement of Ma’ale Adumim, according to a separate statement issued by the police spokesperson’s unit. The U.N. aid agency serving Palestinians in Gaza faced more funding cuts Monday amid accusations that 12 of its employees were involved in the Oct. 7 attack that sparked the Israel-Hamas war. The allegations over the weekend triggered a wave of funding cuts by major donors, including the U.S., Britain and France. UNRWA employs roughly 13,000 Palestinians in Gaza and says it will be forced to halt operations within weeks if funding isn’t restored. Two Palestinian gunmen opened fire near a bus stop on the outskirts of Jerusalem on Thursday morning, killing at least three people, according to the Israeli authorities. The Israeli police said in a statement that the gunmen, who were armed with an M16 rifle and a handgun, were killed at the scene by two off-duty soldiers and an armed civilian. At least six people were wounded in the attack, according to Magen David Adom, Israel’s emergency service. The Shaare Zedek Medical Center said it was treating four victims, three of whom were still in serious condition. Shiner said the center provided tens of thousands of units of blood in the days that followed the Hamas attacks. CNN —Two Israeli civilians were shot and killed on Saturday in the flashpoint West Bank town of Huwara, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). IDF soldiers have been pursuing the suspects and have set up blockades in the area, the military said in a statement. Huwara, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, was the scene of the fatal shooting of two Israeli settler brothers in February, following that night by revenge attacks by settlers on the Palestinian town. Hamas, the Palestinian militant movement that runs Gaza and is increasingly popular in the West Bank, praised the attack without directly claiming responsibility for it. “The security forces are working diligently to find the murderer and come to terms with him, just as we have done with all the murderers so far.”

CNN —An Israeli patrolman was shot and killed in Tel Aviv on Saturday night by a Palestinian gunman who was also shot and killed, Israeli authorities said. Israel Police Commissioner Yaakov Shabtai said two Tel Aviv municipal patrol bikers noticed the suspect and called on him to stop, prompting him to pull out a pistol and shoot one of them. The second patrolman pulled out his own gun, chased the attacker and shot him. Both the wounded officer and the gunman were taken to Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center – Ichilov – which first announced the gunman was dead and later confirmed the officer’s death. Jerusalem CNN —An Israeli man was seriously wounded and two girls were hurt in a shooting in the West Bank, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Israeli emergency services said Sunday. The shooting took place in the Israeli-occupied southern West Bank, which is normally calmer than the north. Palestinian sources said Israeli troops were searching every car as they looked for the suspects, creating a traffic jam lasting at least two hours on a day when Israel and the West Bank are suffering a heatwave. Most of the recent violence in the West Bank has taken place in the region’s north, especially in Jenin and Nablus. Both those cities have seen Israel carry out deadly anti-terror raids and Palestinian militants attacking civilians, sometimes in response to the IDF operations.

TEL AVIV, July 4 (Reuters) - Six people were injured in a car-ramming and stabbing attack in Tel Aviv on Tuesday by an assailant believed to be a Palestinian from the occupied West Bank, Israeli police said, calling the incident terrorism. A medic who examined him at the scene told Israel's Kan radio that he had been shot dead. Israel has been on alert for Palestinian attacks a day after launching a major military operation in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin. Video circulated online showed a pick-up truck that had mounted a pavement near a mall and jutted into a bicycle path. A spokesperson for the Magen David Adom ambulance service said some of those injured had knife wounds.
